Take Care of Yourself

Hi yogis -

Thank you for spending the summer with me to think about the inter-relationship of our practice and our teaching.

Here is a closing gift for you - a 20 minute practice that attends to your subtle anatomy. We begin with yin yoga before moving onto tapping and Nadi shodhana pranayama. You may want a bolster, blanket, eye pillow, essential oil, and anything else you enjoy. Use a rolled up blanket or block if you don’t have a bolster.

With love,

Kathryn

Month Three

Gravity and Levity Mentorship program

Welcome to Month Three!

This month we are asking ourselves how to stay motivated and inspired in our teaching - an energy hurdle that every teacher faces if they teach for long enough.

This month you have one video lecture, one handout, and one practice. The video lecture has no visuals and is also available as audio-only.

Month Two

Gravity and Levity Mentorship program

Welcome to Month Two!

This month we are brainstorming and beginning to create our offering. Whether this is strictly a brainstorming activity or something you’d like to realize, notice how parameters inspire questioning, which in turn requires creative responses.

This month you have one video lecture, one handout, and one practice. Enjoy!

Month One

Gravity and Levity Mentorship program

Welcome to Month One!

This month we are focusing on establishing the foundation of inquiry - asking ourselves why we are here, what we hope to get out of the program, what we may like to create, and doing a little self-inquiry and inner guide development.

To feel confident and stable in your offerings, you must have a strong relationship to practice. Let’s talk about how you can make that happen when time is scarce and ways to deepen when it’s abundant.

This month you have one video lecture, one handout, and one practice. There are a couple of notes on practice in your handout.

For practice, you have the option of playing music from Apple or Spotify with a pre-made playlist. Of course, you are welcome to play your own music or practice without.

Here is the playlist on Apple.

Here is the playlist on Spotify.

 Online Sessions

Zoom hosts our online sessions. You need to download the Zoom software to access the session. Links will be posted to the course website closer to our first evening. Note: out of respect for fellow students, we ask that you do not screen shot our Zoom sessions.

So looking forward to spending this time with you!

Warmly,

Kathryn
